  • Interview:Graham Briggs, UK Criterium Champion

Last night, Graham Briggs (Raleigh GAC) chatted with journalists in the region about his upcoming appearance in the OCBC Cycle Singapore Professional Criterium on Friday, 2 March. Briggs is the current UK Criterium Champion and will look to show the field a fresh set of legs as the riders sail past the Singapore flyer.

  • Garmin Barracude to race Langkawi

I was pretty excited when I read the news that Tommy Danielson will be at le Tour de Langkawi in 2012. 12 years ago the little American won Langkawi with one of the most dynamic teams of that day - Saturn. In 2012 Danielson will lead the newly named Garmin-Barracude team from Putraya to Kuala Terengganu.

  • Africans MTN-QHUBEKA to lTdL

I'm not sure, but my guess is 2012 will be the third victory for an African team at le Tour de Langkawi. MTN-Qhubeka is comprised of riders from all over the African continent from different lines of descent including Adrien Niyonshuti from Rwanda, and Jani Tewelde, Meron Russom and Tesfai Habtariam from Eritrea. There are also two South African riders in Jacques Janse van Rensburg and Dennis van Niekerk.
